Day 1: Dalat – Cat Tien National Park (Lunch, dinner)

07:30 Nha Trang Travel tour guide and van will pick you up at your hotel and leave Dalat for Cat Tien National Park Tour at the distance of 150 km with an estimated driving about 3 and half an hour. You will approach the volcanic area.

Upon arrival, we cross the Dong Nai river and head to the Cat Tien Riverside Lodge for check in. Followed by lunch break by Dong Nai River

You will commence an 8-km hike along the nature trail where you will see many gigantic trees before returning to the Cat Tien Park lodge.
What type of trees on this trail? There are Lagerstroemia Ovalfolia (BangLang), Tetrameles nudiflora (Tung), Cycas rumphii (Thien Tue), Ancistrolandus tectorius (Trung quan), Afzelia cyclocarpa (Go).

You will go on an open-aired jeep lead us to The TaLai buffer zone for a night site where we may spot tree -shrews, civets, mouse deer, wild boars, and pygmy Loris. You will back to your basic guesthouse room with river view or garden ones. Deluxe Forest Floor Lodge within the park available on request.

Day 2: Cat Tien Park Trek – Ho Chi Minh City/Dalat (Breakfast, lunch)

You will take an open-aired jeep transfer 9 km to a junction, where we will hike 5 km to The ranger at the Crocodile Lake. You will have a rest stop and enjoy wild life from the lake’s watch tower with many birds surrounding. After your wild life experience at the Lake’s watch tower, we hike back to the junction and our jeep brings us back to your lodging.
You will have the local lunch break, and take our awaiting a/c van returning to Ho Chi Minh City. You will be in Ho Chi Minh City at an estimated time of arrival at 4 pm. End services.

Options for easier hikes:

• The seven km waterfalls route (Thac Troi, Thac Dung): takes three hours. It’s easy and passes by many huge trees.
• Hike 8 km to The Bird watching tower and wild life can be seen en-route.
